We are based in the beautiful Sonoma County, but also love to travel.
+ What form of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, or credit card (though there is a 4% service fee that will be applied for using a credit card).
+ What is the payment policy? Cancellation policy?
Upon signing a contract with Sunnyside, we generally require a 50% retainer, but can be flexible with payment plans if needed. In regards to cancellations, if for some reason you do need to cancel, we will be more than willing to work with you to ensure we maintain a positive/working relationship with our clients.
+ Do you have a travel fee?
There is a travel fee for all services outside of Sonoma County (the first 50 miles are included).
+ When will we receive our wedding photos?
Wedding photos are generally returned to you no later than 6 weeks. They will all be edited and retouched.
+ Where will our engagement session take place?
Your engagement session will take place in a location of your choice. We specialize in natural-light photography, so using a studio is not something we offer. We prefer to capture our couples in their favorite location(s) and enjoy building a story around who they are as a team using locations that inspire or speak to them.
+ Will you take family portraits at our wedding?
Absolutely! Prior to your wedding day, we'll work on a shot list together so I can be sure to capture any group you'd like.
+ Can we print our photos ourselves?
Definitely! You receive the right to print your photos for personal use only. The online gallery that you'll receive your photos in to download from also has an online store, which you are more than welcome to purchase prints from as well. Your gallery will be live for 6 months after your wedding date. This comes in handy if you have family members that want to purchase prints and alleviates the headache for you to try and arrange it all. The prints are created at one of the nation's best labs.
+ When will we receive our wedding film?
Your wedding film will be delivered to you in approximately 10-15 days after your event. This allows us time to completely edit your unique film and additional time for any revisions to be made that may be requested.
+ Do we get to keep the raw footage from our wedding?
No, we do not supply the raw footage of your event (even at an additional cost).
+ How is the wedding film delivered?
We host your final video on dropbox for you and your family to download, as well as give you a usb flash drive with your master files. We can also supply a DVD or Blu-Ray for copying purposes at an additional charge.
+ Will I receive a printed proof of the stationary?
Yes! It’s important to us that you love your stationary, and since colors and textures look different on a computer than they do when printed, we think a printed proof is absolutely necessary. You will get to see and feel this proof before we send your final goods to press.
+ What type of paper do you use for printing?
We use 110# premium invitation cardstock. Other paper is available upon request, but is not included in the package price.
+ What types of envelopes are provided with the invitation suites?
The envelopes are European-inspired pointed flap, which is a popular style for wedding invitations. We have a variety of colors for you to choose from. Typically this is chosen once we have your invitation colors finalized.
+ How long does the entire design and print process take?
Since wedding invitations are typically sent out 6-8 weeks before the big day, we like to start the design process about 6 months before your wedding date. This is flexible, however the more time we have the more time we can put into making your invitation one-of-a-kind.
+ What about embellishments and other design options like letterpress, foil-pressed, etc.?
While these types of extras are not included in any of our packages, please do not hesitate to contact us. We want to make sure your one-of-a-kind invitation is exactly how you want it, so we will work with you to make it special.
+ How is the reception set list built out/created?
Our set lists are custom built months in advance. Each wedding has a unique setlist depending on your requests for the day.
+ Can guests request songs during the reception?
In most cases, yes, especially if there is good cell phone service. If we don’t have the song on-hand, we can usually acquire it over the internet, but will sometimes take a couple minutes to find a proper spot to mix it in.
+ What kind of gear do you use?
We use a 4 Channel Pioneer Mixer with Serato DJ.
+ Can you emcee the crowd during the reception?
Yes! We would love to emcee your wedding and it’d be best to plan out each queue ahead of time. If you’re using a wedding planner, we would link up with them for the queues before-hand to ensure everything goes off without a hitch.
