This past July, I had the pleasure of creating wedding invitations and signage for an amazing couple, Sophia and Maxime. These two love birds met in France (she’s from the US, he’s French & German) and got engaged in Yosemite while he was here visiting her! Melissa had the opportunity to capture their love (look out for those photos in the coming weeks) and the whole day was perfect.
Sophia and Maxime wanted their invitations to have a turn of the century, vintage French, old ice cream parlor vibe. I combined their colors of dusty rose and navy (which went with the theme really nicely) and did research on invitation wording that they used to use back in the day. These things put together created a vintage/rustic vibe that really set the tone for the day to come.
Sophia and Max borrowed these adorable old windows from a neighbor to use for signage. We used these for the menu, the bar menu, the seating chart, and a few other signs throughout the wedding. The windows really added to the rustic vibe, and combined with vintage white handdrawn type they really brought the whole theme together.
These two had such a unique vision for their wedding and it was so inspiring to be able to work with them in making that come to life! Toutes nos félicitations Sophia and Maxime, we wish you many years of happiness!
